About

I make art as a means of addressing emotions I fail to properly process or understand. Using playful characters, bright colors and cuteness eases me into addressing my emotions and the distance I feel towards others. It is an autobiographical view in which I explore my personal relationships and the world at large.

Mental illness is explored through the lens of masculinity in my work. Things might be almost visible beneath the surface, but never talked about out loud. Everything is made to be less serious and nothing should be a burden on anyone else. The imagery in my work is often obscured by repetitive floral imagery to soften and distract from the underlying content from which my work is derived.
